The Story Behind KOR K9

KOR K9 is named after the three dogs who shaped how I train and what I believe in. Kovu, Ollie and Raven.

Ollie was my first dog and the reason this all started. Working through his reactivity changed how I see behaviour and training. He taught me the importance of structure, clarity and doing better once you know better. He now works as one of my helper dogs, supporting other dogs and their owners.

Raven came along once my skills had developed. She is steady, reliable and brings a calm presence into training. She reinforced the value of patience, consistency and keeping things clear for the dog.

Kovu pushed me the most. As a challenging working line dog, he forced me to think outside the box, build real engagement and adapt to the dog in front of me rather than relying on a set method.

Those three dogs shaped the foundation of KOR K9. Strong relationships, clear communication, fair structure and training that suits the individual dog.

Everything I do comes back to that.
